Just saw a clip of Rod Stewart and if I'm honest he sounds like he always has, maybe it's my ears that are tone deaf!

When I tuned in there was an old black woman just screaming. I’m assuming this must have been Diana Ross but it was truly awful

Celeste had a shocker - absolutely murdered Wonderful World... Satchmo will be turning in his grave!

Re: Anyone watching the jubilee celebration concert?
Full of wokeness and diversity over ability which as we know with the decline at the BBC themselves equals no quality.

Queen were good, and that Eurovision bloke seems like a good egg. The rest was total shit. Rod can't do it any more.

Enjoyed the weekend and nice to see the country coming together.

BBC seemed to use the event to pump more diversity propaganda.

Watched a few bits here and there as I wandered past the living room - looked utter crap.

And, yes, as I've said, I don't like Queen, but I thought Adam Lambert's attempts to upstage and 'out-Freddie' Freddie distasteful. The other two should have given him a slap. No wonder John Deacon won't go near the cunt.

Re: Anyone watching the jubilee celebration concert?
Piss-poor bill. Had the BBC's grubby woke mitts all over it.

Everyone loves the Queen and nobody had a problem appearing on the previous three jubilee shows - nobody would have a problem now. The BBC got who they wanted, Queen (geddit!), an old queen, lots of angry young black people (probably disappointed the BBC by not being nearly as angry as they'd hoped), Sir Rod representing the country's geriatrics and Diana Ross as a kind of woke comedy encore. Her total inability to mumble along in time with the backing singer who was doing all the actual singing was very amusing.

Still, as Reeta said, the Queen isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Re: Anyone watching the jubilee celebration concert?
I liked Alicia Keys and Mabel (Mabel..have I got that right ?) That’s the first time I’ve seen Adam Lambert …I know I’m bias but I thought he was poor , (just imagine if Freddie was there last night ! ) Rod and Diana was pretty much what I expected . I think somebody else mentioned it’s a shame Cliff wasn’t there but that was never gonna happen and have to agree .

Re: Anyone watching the jubilee celebration concert?
Thought it was ok if you didn't take it too seriously. The guy who plays Freddie Mercury needs to lose a few pounds and sadly Rod the Mod was a pale imitation of the bloke l saw in his pomp at Wembley in the 80's! Alicia Keys was very good as were Duran Duran but Diana Ross joined the party 20 years too late and what the fuck was Elton Jobn doing his stint in one of the state rooms, weird!

If I was in any doubt as to why Craig David had passed me by the first time around, those doubts were well and truly quoshed last night. FMOB, he was shit.

My old MATE, plays for Duran Duran...nice to see him getting on down with Nile Rogers.

He always hated them when we're at school.

I quite enjoyed it all in naff way. Missed Queen though ..bahhhhh

I'm away so didn't see it, but the missus showed me a video of Sam Ryder being brilliant.
